The Catholic Church is the One Church that was founded by the Lord Jesus Christ, when He said to St Peter, ‘You are Peter, and on this rock, I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven; whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven, whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven.’
Together with St Peter’s Successor, our Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, and with our Bishop, Mark Davies of Shrewsbury, we are part of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church seeking to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the people of Wythenshawe.
